Kathleen Cusac, Curriculum Specialist at Econiful recently had this to say about our own Mrs. Weser and her contributions to the Econiful Ambassador Program over the past two years: "Econiful Ambassadors are on-level high school economics educators who are committed to ensuring all teachers have access to high-quality instructional materials at no monetary cost. Ambassadors do this through collaboration with Econiful staff, field testing lessons and assessments, and providing valuable feedback. Melanie has been instrumental in this endeavor, demonstrating professional dedication and a drive to support other educators. PC Seniors in Mrs. Smith’s Theology class have rekindled an old tradition at PCHS, making blankets for neonatal babies at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Norfolk, VA. Students learn the basics of crochet and complete a blanket as a way to serve and give back to the community, recognizing the dignity of the weak and vulnerable.
