Student Life

Students engage in friendly competitions between classes twice a year in events truly unique to our school.

The Junior-Senior Showdown starts off the year with a contest of flag football, choreographed dances, and hallway decorations. It gives students new to PC a glimpse of the level of spirit upperclassmen have for their class and their school.  It also gives them a feel for the friendly rivalry they will face later in the year during Spirit Week.

Catholic Schools/Spirit Week takes place during basketball season in February. The Student Council Association creates a theme for the week and students show their class pride by competing in dances, hallway decorations, costumes and more all week long. The week ends with a Homecoming basketball game on Friday and a dance on Saturday night. PC's most spirited class is awarded the "spirit sword" at the end of the week.

These competitions are so entertaining to students and their families that portions have been published on PC’s YouTube channel for students of all ages to enjoy long after the games are over.
Beyond these class competition, students are all members of the Blue Crew, cheering on the PC Knights at home (and away) games.  Whether on the field, the courts, or the course, PC Spirit is loud and proud!

We have an entire Spirit Shop so you can be decked out in all the latest Knight swag!
