The PCHS Chapter of the National Art Honor Society inspires and recognizes students with outstanding ability and a keen interest in the visual arts while raising awareness of the arts within the school and in the community. Throughout the school year, Art Honor Society members exhibit their art, perform art-related services for the school and community, and sponsor art-related events.

Each month, National Art Honor Society members choose a PCHS student as “artist of the month” who they feel deserves to be recognized for talent, service, and commitment to the arts. In March, they celebrate the arts with an annual arts night including a juried art show, theatrical performances, and music.

PCHS students with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and who have taken at least one art class with an A average or higher in art classes are invited in early spring to apply for membership. The induction ceremony is typically held later in the spring.
