  • After Prom volunteers earn double service hours. Contact Mrs. Loughran to learn what is available. We need a great deal of help to make this a successful event. 

  • Sophomore parents--it’s time for a high school milestone!  For those of you who wish to give your student a Class Ring at next year’s Rite of Passage, Jostens representatives will be at PC on this Tuesday evening, from 5:00-7:00 and on Thursday at 11:15 to take orders.    You can also design and order your ring online. Your student should have brought home all the information to you in the packet last week.  Parents are not required to purchase a class ring from Jostens--but they are our recommended vendor.  You may also choose an entirely different token to commemorate their student’s Rite of Passage.  

  • The PCHS Easter lily sale is going on now. Single lilies have 5-7 blooms, and are in a 6.5 inch, wrapped pot, each lily is $12.00. Please place orders no later than April 11. Orders can be picked up at the school on Tuesday, April 16 (3 pm - 4 pm) in room 212. To place an order, please click here

  • Does your senior have a Bayport Credit Union account?  Do you know you can apply for a BCU scholarship? If so, he/she is eligible to apply for a 4-year renewable scholarship! Details can be found here. Deadline to apply is April 12. Not a Bayport member - apply at school to be eligible. Applications can be picked up from Mrs. Weser and the Bayport tellers during lunch.

  • Rise Against Hunger, we need students to help package meals for the hungry in developing nations. The event will be held at the Yorktown YMCA this Saturday, April 13 from 1:15-3:15 pm.  You can make a big impact!  You must sign up online in advance.  

  • 25 Mentor Parents are still needed for the 2019-2020 school year!  Earn service hours and help a new family as their student begins at PC.  Contact Shaylyn Baker to volunteer.

  • Take up to $2,000 off your 2019-2020 tuition!  If you refer a family from a non-feeder school (cannot be OLMC, SMSS, or PCRS), and they enroll for the 2019-2020 school year, you’ll receive a $1,000 tuition credit!  Each family can earn up to $2,000 in tuition credits for referring two new students.  Contact Shaylyn Baker for more information.

  • Complete your service hours for next year by hosting a student from Spain for three weeks!  12 students from Spain will be at Peninsula Catholic next September as part of a cultural exchange.  Families who host a student for the three weeks will complete their full 20 service hour requirement!  For more information, contact Donna Clifford at FLAG International at (757) 771-8032.

Volunteer Opportunities 
PC Booster Club is looking for two additional volunteer members to help every three weeks with Knights of Columbus Bingo on Thursday evenings. This is a great way to earn volunteer hours and become part of a great team of PC parents. Because we support the Knights of Columbus by volunteering at bingo, they generously support the Peninsula Catholic.
