To ensure seating for all and to regulate attendance at graduation, Peninsula Catholic will be requiring tickets for entrance to the Commencement Exercises on June 1. Please indicate the number of tickets needed. Children two and under do not need a ticket.  If you need more than the maximum number (10), we will contact you and make every effort to accommodate your group. Please complete this form no later than Tuesday, May 28. We request only one parent/guardian complete this form.  Tickets will be sent home with your student on Wednesday, May 29. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Franklin  Thank you.

  • The deadline (May 30, 2019) to add your family service hours for 18-19 school is quickly approaching.  All volunteer hours performed on or after June 1 will count towards the 19-20 school year.  This includes hours that are earned for graduation. Two-parent homes are required to perform 20 hours of service; one-parent home or two parent homes with a spouse deployed are required to perform 10 hours of service.  In lieu of service hours, parents may opt to pay $300 (two-parent home) or $150 (one-parent home).  Please make sure checks are payable to PCHS with “service hours” written on the memo line.  A charge of $15 per hour will be assessed for any uncompleted hours.  An outstanding balance will preclude the release of report cards, transcripts, and/or diplomas. Parents must log-in their hours via ParentsWeb through our website. Parents can easily see the number of completed service hours under “Family Information”. The hours submitted to ParentsWeb is what will be used to determine billing assessments for uncompleted hours.

  • Order your Exam Day Lunches now. During final exams our usual cafeteria service is suspended.  Lunches on these days, Tuesday, 4 June and Wednesday, 5 June, will only be available by advanced order. No other food will be served on these days. All Exam Day Lunches must be ordered by Monday, June 3. Please click here to access the order form. All orders must be placed by June 3 at 12:00 PM.

  • Any student with medication in the clinic needs to pick up their medicine by June 5. All medication not picked up by June 5 will be discarded.

  • It is Spring Cleaning time and we are gladly accepting all used uniforms (with the exception of green polos), belts, ties and PE uniforms. Drop them off in the Main Office.

Volunteer Opportunities...

  • Thursday Night Bingo is an option for families in need of volunteer hours.   Families needing volunteer hours prior to the May 31 deadline, volunteer for bingo this week. Any hours earned after the May 31 deadline apply to next year’s family service hours. Earn double service hours for volunteering for bingo on July 4. In addition to double service hours, $60 will be donated on your behalf to a school team, class, or club. Please consider helping as the Knights of Columbus are counting on us. Contact Will Robertson to reserve your spot.

  • Parent volunteers are needed to assist with graduation on Saturday, June 1. We only need one more parent to serve from 8:45 AM until 10:15 AM, and will earn three service hours!  To volunteer, contact Shaylyn Baker.

  • The HSA need volunteers for Graduation and Baccalaureate this year and with the extra help, it would really solidify these two events. Please click the link and take a few moments of your time, to look and see, if volunteering for Baccalaureate is an option for you.Thank you PC families, for the continued support that you put forth for all of our children. The Home & School Association would not be who we are without everyone helping, working together, side by side. Additionally, HSA is in need of a parent or a team of parents, to help with the Graduation Cakes this year. This request requires access to Costco, preferably, or Sam's Club with a membership and transporting 10 sheet cakes from the store to PC on May 31. Please contact Gena Petersen for full, specific cake details if interested or call at 757-338-3383. As a friendly reminder, all time accumulated with this endeavor are hours you can submit towards your families service hours for the next school year. Thank you!

  • We still need at least 14 more mentor parents to help welcome new families as they bring their students to PC next year.  Mentor parents will earn their 20 hours of  service throughout the year!  Email Shaylyn Baker to sign up.
