MAKE YOUR GIFT FOR GIVE LOCAL 757

The Give Local 757 Initiative is a program created by the Peninsula Community Foundation to spark and grow local philanthropy through the region's annual 24-hour giving day held on the second Tuesday in May. The event unites our community like no other to help raise unrestricted funds for nonprofit organizations that strengthen the Hampton Roads region. 

Peninsula Catholic High School (PCHS) is glad to join our local nonprofits on this regional day of giving. Our goal this year is to increase engagement and support with sponsorships, campaign ambassadors, and challenge gifts.

Peninsula Catholic continues to be a leader in innovative instructional strategies by leveraging our enhanced technological resources to engage students in a collaborative learning environment.  Implementing online educational platforms and conferencing cameras, we bring our virtual students into the live classroom to learn alongside their in-person peers.  Our Google-certified instructors are continually looking for new and creative educational resources to engage with students, both on-campus and virtually. 

Moving forward, PCHS is advancing our innovative instructional resources with upgraded computers to provide more functionality on the educational platforms, mobile carts in each classroom so teachers can more effectively collaborate with their students, and other technologies to elevate engagement in the digital workspace.

How Can you help?

  • Become a Giving Day Sponsor. As a Giving Day Sponsor, your contribution will be recognized during a power hour on May 10th designated just for you, in our virtual communications, through social media, on our website, on our giving page, and in our annual Knight Report. Refer to the Sponsorship Opportunities for more information. 

  • Partner with PC to be a PC Influencer. As a PC Influencer, you will help us lead this Give Local 757 day of giving through a personalized fundraising page linked to Peninsula Catholic. By sharing your personal story and asking your friends and family to join you in making a gift to PC, you can help us exponentially increase our resources to better serve the students.
