Host Families
Peninsula Catholic works primarily with two agencies for host family opportunities.  If you are interested in being a host family for an international student, please use the contact information below.

International Agencies 

New Oasis International Education 
New Oasis is proud to work with families that might be interested in hosting a Peninsula Catholic student.  Host families are responsible for room, board and transportation, and provide their international student with a welcoming and loving home. New Oasis host families receive an amazing cultural experience, a generous monthly stipend ($1100/month) and a mutually rewarding experience. Nacel Open Door
Nacel Open Door, Inc. is dedicated to promoting international understanding and language education.  Our F1 Visa students speak English and are insured and have money for all personal expenses.  Host families are responsible for room, board and transportation for their student.  Students are placed with families for the year (or semester for students arriving in January) and families receive a generous stipend and wonderful cultural experience.  For more information or to volunteer, please contact Karen Mercer at 757-721-7345
